Embark on a dynamic two-week filmmaking adventure! In Week 1, you’ll learn scriptwriting, casting, and the technical aspects of shooting, gaining hands-on experience with cameras, audio, lighting, and special effects. In Week 2, you’ll focus on production and post-production, shooting and editing your script to bring your vision to life. By the end of the camp, you’ll have created an original short film, showcased at the end-of-summer event. Drop-off starts at 9:15 a.m. Please bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. Explore the exciting world of animation! Experiment with a variety of techniques including stop-motion, Claymation, and 2D digital animation—no drawing skills required! Animate objects, puppets, paper, clay, or even yourself. You’ll use animation software, learn sound production, editing, and storytelling techniques. Collaborate with fellow campers to create an original animated short, which will be showcased at the end-of-summer event. Drop-off is available at 9:15 am. Start your music career off with a bang, crash, boom! This camp is designed for beginners interested in music production, using Garageband on the iPad. You’ll learn the fundamentals of music structure, songwriting, and beat creation while working toward creating your own original song. The camp will culminate in the production of a unique music video, featured in the end-of-summer showcase. Drop-off is available at 9:15 a.m. Lunchtime supervision is available for those signed up for both morning and afternoon media camps during the same week.
